Since 1997, La villa Noaille has organized a competition to discover and support young international photographers, as part of the Festival International de Mode, de Photographie et d'Accessoires de Hyères. The39th edition of the festival will be held from October 10 to 13, 2024 .

The competitions bring together ten fashion designers, ten photographers and ten accessory designers, selected by professional juries. The selected photographers' creations are presented in the form of agroup exhibition.

The key:

  • The Grand Prix du jury de la Photographie 7L with the production of a book published by Editions 7L, a book launch party and an exhibition. The winner's work will also be exhibited at the Ville Noailles during the 2025 edition of the festival. The Grand Prix also includes a €20,000 prize from CHANEL and 3 days' studio time with sunny side studio equipment, donated by Kitten and Sheriff Projects.

The 4 finalist photographers will also have the opportunity to talk to members of the jury, the press and professionals during the festival.

The competition is not genre-specific, but still life and fashion photography are favored. Both personal and commissioned work is accepted, but only photographers who have not already been exhibited in an international gallery or cultural institution may enter.

To apply, you need to e-mail 20 images from one or two series already produced, and if your application is accepted, send prints of these 20 images to the villa Noailles association.

Applications are accepted up to and including December 12, 2023.
