Congratulations to Laura Bonnefous, finalist in the Objectif Femmes competition

Created by Karine Paoli, Author, Photographer and President of #PARISARTISTES, the Objectif Femmes festival showcases the work of women photographers through a group exhibition organized in the Aguado salons of the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

Running from November 12 to Sunday November 23, 2025, the exhibition will pay tribute to a decade of commitment to women photographers, with a retrospective of all the artists presented since the creation of our festival, exhibited alongside the five photographers selected for this edition.

The winner of the competition will receive the Objectif FEMMES 2025 trophy, and will be offered a solo exhibition by the 9th arrondissement town hall in 2026.

A 2014 graduate of the Bachelor Photographer and Videographer programme, Laura Bonnefous was selected alongside photographers Coco Amardeil, Camille Gourdan, Claire Luxton and LiliRoze for her " Souffle aride " project.

With this series, Laura Bonnefous explores the territory of the Sultanate of Oman, and more specifically Duqm, a modest fishing town that has seen a meteoric rise in recent times, to reveal the fragile link between the land and man.

"For me, it's a real desire to bring a sensitive vision to these moving landscapes. It's about looking back at our world, which is constantly changing before our very eyes. I use color to approach my subject, and this is what will lead me to explore and understand these spaces.

A book, prefaced by Omani author Jokha Alharthi, accompanies the project, and will be published in June 2025 by Éditions Odyssée.
