Take your film to Japan with the Nagoya Digital Animation Festival!

The Nagoya Digital Animation Festival is organized by the Digitale Animation Tube (DAT). It brings together several companies and universities from Japan'sAichi prefecture.

 

The festival aims to bring together students, professionals and companies around the theme of digitalanimation.

 

As part of this, the festival organizes a film competition open to international films. Films must be less than 15 minutes long, created after 2022, using digital tools. Films created entirely with AI are not accepted, but they may have been conceived partially with AI.

 

Selected films will be screened during the festival. The winners (first prize, second prize and special prizes) will be announced at the closing ceremony on Sunday March 2.

 

The following companies will be present at the event:

  • The Acquire studio, which worked on Mario and Luigi: The Brotherly Epic, among other projects.

  • Exsa, a CG3D production company which worked on the third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

  • The Yostar Pictures studio.

 

Applications are open until midnight on Sunday, February 9.
