The PICTO LAB residency program lasts three months (May to July), and each year offers one artist support for experimentation and creation in the PICTO laboratories.

The aim of this residency program is to support the realization of projects involving specific, innovative and experimental know-how, in order to "explore new forms of image representation and reproduction".

The support offered by Picto Fundation, in partnership with the Cité internationale des arts, the salon a ppr oc he and Fujifilm, includes: an allocation of €4,000 and a technical grant of €10,000 dedicated to the experimental phase, as well as access to the production facilities of the PICTO laboratories.

The selected photographer will also benefit from a studio apartment or workshop at the Cité internationale des arts (Site du Marais), as well as material support from Fujifilm (photographic paper, etc.). Finally, her project will be presented at the a ppr oc he show in November 2024.

To apply, you must have been in business for at least two years. Applications are open to foreign artists. Applications from photographers for whom the residency represents a springboard and who have not yet found the opportunity to experiment with and produce or distribute their project will be favored.

Participants must be accompanied by a partner structure (art center, institution, gallery, etc.) which will be able to exhibit their work in order to perpetuate the project.

Applications must include the following elements: a CV, an artistic dossier, a note of attention and a letter of sponsorship from the partner structure.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Organized every two years since 2014, by Photo Elysée, cantonal museum for photography located in Switzerland and Parmigiani Fleurier the Elysée Prize aims to support and accompany photographers in the development of their careers and to enhance the value of their work.

The prize is divided into two one-year phases. In the first year, 8 photographers are selected on the basis of their portfolio, and each receives an individual contribution of 5,000 Swiss francs to prepare their project and submit a complete dossier (production schedule, visuals, etc.).

At the end of this first year's work, a winner is chosen and awarded a prize of 8,000 Swiss francs for the production and presentation of the project. The winner's work will be presented publicly by the museum in June 2026.

The prize is open to photographers of all ages and nationalities whose work has already been exhibited or published, and is recognized nationally or internationally, but has not yet been the subject of retrospectives. Entrants must also be recommended by a professional in the field of photography or art.

Projects must be unpublished and have never been exhibited or published. No theme is imposed.

Entries are open until Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Launched for the first time in November 2023, thanks to the patronage of publisher Frédérique Destribats, the Fonds de soutien au livre photo jeunesse de l'Institut pour la photographie aims to promote the creation of photographic works for young audiences .

Organized every two years, the fund awards a €10,000 grant for the creation and design of an original French-language book project aimed at a young audience (children or teenagers, aged 6 to 18). The winner will also benefit from the support of the Institut pour la photographie team in the realization of his or her project.

The call for entries is open to authors, photographers and graphic designers of all nationalities, with no age limit. Applications may be submitted individually or collectively.

Applications must include a detailed statement of intent, a pre-model, an 18-month production schedule, a provisional budget, a CV and visuals of the project.

Projects will be selected by a jury of publishing, photography and education experts.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Valued at 3500€, the prize aims to promote nature photography and defend ethical wildlife photography, without excessive retouching. The prize is divided into two parts: a grant of €2,000 and €1,500 worth of prints for an exhibition.

The winner's work will be exhibited at the festival from May 8 to 12, 2024 in Port Saint Louis du Rhône, as well as at partner events.
