Call for entries for the Françoise Demulder award for women photojournalists

Organized by the French Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Visa pour l'Image, the international photojournalism festival, the Françoise Demulder Award aims to support women photojournalists in the realization of a reporting project.

The prize is open to professional women photojournalists of any nationality or age, wishing tocarry out - or extend - a photojournalistic report on social, economic, political or cultural issues. No theme is imposed.

There are two prizes of 8,000 euros each, awarded by the Ministry of Culture/DRAC Occitanie for the production or completion of a report.

To enter, you must have already produced at least one photo essay. Projects using artificial intelligence are not accepted.

Entries are open until Thursday, June 20, 2024.
