Call for projects for "Les Étoiles de Fontevraud 2025" (Fontevraud Stars 2025)

For the second year running, Fontevraud Abbey is calling for animated film projects. The film will introduce " Les Étoiles de Fontevraud ", a nocturnal sound and light show centered on a historical figure.

Following on from the 2024 edition, which focused on Eleanor of Aquitaine, and the short film "The Plantagenets" directed by Jean-Baptiste Peltier, this new commissioned film will focus on the life of Robert d'Arbrissel, the abbey's founder.

The film will have to follow the main lines of the synopsis established for the journey, take into account its immersive dimension and provide keys to understanding the life of Robert d'Arbrissel.

The winner will receive a budget of €30,000 (excl. VAT) for the production of the film, including production and transfer of rights.

To apply, filmmakers must be accompanied by a production company, and must submit an application form.

Applications are open until midnight Sunday, September 22.
