Call for video projects - City of Paris

Creation of a video for the redevelopment of Porte de la Chapelle

As part of the Porte de la Chapelle redevelopment and requalification project, which aims to rethink the lighting and perception of the district by its inhabitants, the City of Paris is launching a call for video projects (animation or live action) on the theme of movement and sport.

The videos, 3 minutes long and without sound, will be projected under the Porte de la Chapelle, with the aim of highlighting emerging artists and democratizing access to art and culture.

As the location chosen by the city council is close to the Paris Arena stadium, where part of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held, the video project is also intended to create a synergy between art and sport.

Participants may propose an original creation or an existing work (provided it meets the conditions set out in the specifications).

To participate you must provide :

  • a portfolio with at least 5 references of past work;

  • a CV ;

  • a note on your artistic practice.

The call for projects is open until October 12, 2023, with the winners announced on October 13. Finalization of the winning entries is scheduled for mid-March 2024.
