The Soloist won the "Best Student Film" award, a reference in the field of animation, at the 50th Annie Awards ceremony held last Saturday in Los Angeles.

A true ode to the freedom of expression of women artists, the film is more relevant than ever. Set in a fictional country, it tells the story of three sisters who are fighting to continue singing in a world governed by absurd and ridiculous laws.

Three of the five talented filmmakers were granted Netflix scholarships for their tuition.
