Last days to apply for Epinal's Video Mapping workshop

Every year since 2016, the town of Épinal has organized "Les Nocturnes

des Imaginales" an event dedicated to the creation and promotion of the Narrative Image.

As part of this, it has set up a professional workshop dedicated to video mapping from October 20 to 31, 2025.

The aim of the workshop is to produce original video mapping works for the Épinal

Épinal theater, on the theme "Alter Ego, Et si l'autre n'existait pas ? ". It is part of an initiative to support and professionalize contemporary creation and foster the emergence of new talent in the field of architectural projection and mapping.

Applications are open to both established and emerging artists who have already produced at least one video mapping.

Participants' works will be projected onto the façade of Épinal's Théâtre Municipal during the "Nocturne des Imaginales" in May 2026.

Following the projection, workshop participants will be eligible to win two creative grants:

• the Grand Prix du Jury, worth €4,000, with the prize of a commissioned show on the Belfry of the Saint-Maurice Basilica, and an invitation to take part in Imaginales 2027;
• The "Coup de Coeur ", with a commission for a show worth €4,000 on a facade in Épernay, during the "Habits de lumière" festival in December 2026.
