Discover Ugo Bienvenu's Master Class podcast
Organized jointly by GOBELINS Paris and France Culture, this masterclass was recorded on Monday November 3 on the Saint Marcel campus.
Behind the scenes at Arco with Ugo Bienvenu
Ugo Bienvenu (Master in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking , class of 2010) was interviewed by three 3rd-year students from the Bachelor in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking: Thomas Postolache, Chloé Rattier and Elyot Touzin, accompanied by journalist Marie Sorbier, producer of "Point Culture".
Together, they discussed his career and the making of"Arco". In particular, Ugo Bienvenu spoke of the influences of mangaka Akira Toriyama and Hayao Miyazaki on his work.
"With Miyazaki's work, I felt like I was in the Sistine Chapel, facing something that was bigger than all of us".
