Congratulations to Carole Maurel, finalist for the Prix BD Fnac France Inter 2025
The Fnac / France Inter prize puts 5 comics in competition, based on a selection of 20 albums drawn up by Fnac booksellers.
Sponsored by Rebecca Manzoni, producer of France Inter's Totémic program, the prize is awarded by a jury of professionals and the general public.
The winning comic strip is promoted throughout January in Fnac stores. An episode of Totémic is also dedicated to it.
After Renaud Roche (class of 2002), it was Carole Maurel 's turn (animation artist, class of 2005) to be selected for her comic strip "Bobigny 1972", scripted by Marie Bardiaux-Valente and published by Editions Glénat.
This graphic novel looks back at the beginnings of the Veil law, enacted in 1975, and tells the story of Marie-Claire Chevalier, who becomes pregnant as a result of rape, and is denounced for illegal abortion by her own assailant. Her mother and the women who came to her aid will also appear as accomplices. Gisèle Halimi used this case to create an electroshock in the media, the public and society at large.

- "Ulysse et Cyrano" by Antoine Cristau, Servain and Xavier Doriso
- "Impénétrable" by Alix Garin
- "Au-dedans" by Will Mc Phail
