Call for applications Objectif Femmes 2024

Created by Karine Paoli, Author, Photographer and President of #PARISARTISTES, the Objectif Femmes festival aims to showcase the work of 5 women photographers througha group exhibition organized in the salons Aguado of the Mairie du 9e arrondissement de Paris from September 24 to October 4, 2024.

Recognized for its commitment to equality in the world of photography, the festival offers a unique opportunity for emerging and established women photographers to showcase their work.

Entries are open to all professional photographers aged 18 and over, regardless of where they live.

No theme is imposed, but entries must be original and cannot be based in whole or in part on artificial intelligence. It is also preferable that entries have not already won a prize or been shortlisted in another national or international competition.

The winner of the competition will receive the Objectif FEMMES 2024 trophy and will be offered a solo exhibition by the9tharrondissement town hallin 2025 .

The festival will contribute €500 per person towards the exhibition costs of the selected photographers, thanks to the support of the Ministère de la Culture - Direction régionale des affaires culturelles d'Île-de-France. Selected photographers will also receive 8 prints donated by one of the festival's partner photo labs.

Applications are open until midnight on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
