Call for entries for the International Women's Film Festival in Aichi, Japan
Held in Japan's Aichi prefecture, the International Women's Film Festival will take place from September 5 to 8, 2024.
Since 1996, it has been the only Japanese festival to feature films made by women. It features an international competition of animated and live-action short films .
The festival is organized around three categories: Animation, Fiction and Documentary.
The call for entries is open to all women directors, regardless of age, and no theme is imposed. Films submitted must be no longer than 30 minutes (including credits). Films must not have been previously broadcast in Japan or on Youtube.
Prize:

A Grand Prix for one film in each section, with a cash prize of 200,000 yen (1,243 euros );

An Audience Award for one film in each section, with a cash prize of 30,000 yen (186 euros).
The deadline for entries is April 20, 2024 .
