Mixed reality creation: what are the design challenges?

Organized jointly by GOBELINS Paris, Flupa and the ELIXR association, the round table "Creation in mixed reality, what are the design challenges?" will take place on Tuesday June 17 at 6:30pm on the Saint Marcel campus.

The evening will be moderated by Alice Lepetit, narrative designer, co-founder of Eclipse Creative Studio and alumnus of the Mastère Spécialisé designer d'expériences immersives, interactives et ludiques (class 2018), in the presence of :

• Stella Jacob, artist and game designer, coauthor of the ASTRA project, also a graduate of the Mastère Spécialisé designer d'expériences immersives, interactives et ludiques (class 2021) ;
• Alexandre Perez, director and founder of Impossible From, formerly with Quantic Dream;
• Ferdinand Dervieux, CTO at Atlas V and Albyon;
• Paul Hannecart, UX designer at HoloForge.

🎤1 9:15: Round table: What are the design challenges in mixed reality creation?
Guests will answer the following questions:

• How are creations impacted by this new approach that blends real and virtual space?
• What design issues are specific to this constantly evolving technology?

🎮 8:15pm: Mixed reality project pitches
Projects presented:

• " A book in mixed reality " by Rémi Engel.
• " The Dance of the Oceans " by BackLight Studio, Compagnie Humaine and choreographer Éric Oberdorff.
• "Talking Board" by Linda Gabbay
• " ASTRA " by Eliza McNitt (game design by Stella Jacob).

🍻 8:30pm: Demo MR, followed by an apéro Networking
