Two calls for entries for the Motion Motion festival

The next edition of the Festival du Graphisme en Mouvement will take place on May 17, 18 and 19, 2024 in Nantes. To prepare for this new edition, the festival has launched three calls for entries: the Motion Motion Awards, the Student Motion Motion Awards, new this year, and its emblematic Keyframe.

As in previous editions, a selection of motions and shorts will be screened during the festival, with 2 prizes up for grabs: the Jury Prize and the Audience Prize.

You have until April 26, 2024 to send your films by e-mail to the following address: flore@motionmotion.fr, indicating your first and last name(s).

The call for entries is open to French-speaking filmmakers. Short films must not exceed 1 minute in length, and must not have been made more than one year ago. You may also send an extract from a longer video. All styles are accepted (2d, 3d, stop motion, mix).

Please note that if you wish to submit a commercial video, the project must be produced by a director and not by an agency in order to be accepted.

New this year, the student competition is based on the same model as the Motion Motion Awards, with films shown during the festival and a double award (jury prize and audience prize).

The selection criteria are the same: a short film under 1 minute (which can be extracted from a longer video) in a free style (2d, 3d, stop motion, mix).

Films must be sent by e-mail before April 26, 2024 to the following address: flore@motionmotion.fr, indicating your surname(s) and first name(s) and "étudiant.e" in the subject line.

This "totem", several meters high, will be placed at the entrance to Stereolux in Nantes for the duration of the festival. The aim of this collaborative work is to allow as many motions designers as possible to express themselves and become an integral part of the event.

All profiles are welcome: professionals, amateurs, students....

To participate, the following elements must be sent to the person responsible for the work before May 10, 2024 at guillaume@motionmotion.fr.
