The visual design for the 2023 edition of the Festival national du film d'animation has been entrusted to Quentin Baillieux, a graduate of the Concepteur et Réalisateur de Films d' Animation course in 2008 and already winner of the Grand Prix du court métrage du festival rennais in 2018. The festival will take place from April 1 to 5, 2023 in Rennes.

He conceived this poster in a very cinematic way: "Coming from animated film rather than illustration, I tend to imagine and compose my images like cinema frames. Theidea with this Festival poster is to play poetically with this notion of frame, to find a dialogue between cinema and illustration". Quentin Baillieux.

After directing the short films Lavomatic in 2011 (with Raphaëlle Tinland, an alumnus of the Photographe Prise de Vue program who also graduated in 2008) and Le Mans 95 in 2018, Quentin Baillieux took a detour into video games before returning to animation with Panama, his latest project.
