Launch of an emerging creation bursary for women photographers

Proposed by the " Les femmes s'exposent " festival, an annual photography event dedicated to professional women photographers of all categories, and supported by the Porosus endowment fund and the Fonds Régnier pour la Création, this emerging creation grant is open to professional women photographers with less than 10 years' experience, regardless of nationality or place of residence.

The €10,000 grant will be awarded with a view to producing an artistic or documentary photographic work. It can be an original project or a project in progress (provided it has never been exhibited).

The aim of this program is to support a photographer at the start of her career and offer her a springboard.

To take part, you must :

• Have already produced at least 2 artistic and/or documentary photographic series, published or unpublished;
• Have less than 10 years' professional experience in photography;
• Not have already been exhibited individually in a recognized cultural venue or festival, in France or abroad.

The jury will meet in May, and the winner will be announced on June 8 during the opening of the Les Femmes s'exposent festival.
