"Dieu est timide" and "Quai Sisowath" shortlisted for the Césars
"Dieu est timide", written and directed by Jocelyn Charles (Master in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking, class of 2019) and "Quai Sisowath" by Stéphanie Lansaque and François Leroy (Animation Designer, class of 2002) are among the 12 films selected for the 2026 César for Best Animated Short Film, revealed last week by the Academy.

Produced by Remembers, "Dieu est timide" is Jocelyn Charles' first short film. It was presented at Critics' Week during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

The 8th film from the duo Stéphanie Lansaque and François Leroy, the film has already beenthe National Animation Film Festival and in official competition at the Annecy Festival.
Phnom Penh. Nakry and Sothear meet on the Sisowath quay for their first date. As night falls, the romance turns into a nightmare when the young girl is transformed into a strange creature.
