Call for entries for the Picto Prize for Fashion Photography

Since 1998, the Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode has rewarded emerging talent by awarding four prizes.

In 2024, the 26th edition rewarded Yama Ndiaye, who graduated from the Bachelor Photographe et Vidéaste program in 2023, following in the footsteps of photographers such as Charlotte Abramow ( class of 2015), Laura Bonnefous (class of 2014) and Léo Arnaud (class of 2017).

In partnership with Leica, the prize is a camera. It also offers the opportunity to be exhibited (production worth €2,000) and tojoin the public collections of the Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.

It includes a photographic commission worth €5,000, on behalf of Galerie du 19M, the use of the Daguerre studio for one day, and the opportunity tojoin the Palais Galliera's public collections.

It includes a portfolio reading with Paolo Roversi, a signed print by the photographer, a €1,000 production grant from PICTO and a €500 endowment with the support of the SAIF, as well as the opportunity tojoin the public collections of the Palais Galliera.

Created in collaboration with the LGA Management agency and the JANVIER digital photo lab, it rewards a visual talent whose photography and art direction are applied to the world of beauty, still life or luxury, in a cross-disciplinary way (print and digital, motion design and video).

The prize includes personalized mentoring with the LGA Management agency, post-production retouching sessions to optimize the portfolio, with the JANVIER digital photographic laboratory, the possibility of entering the public collections of the Palais Galliera, and a 500 euro prize with the support of the Saif.

Studio Daguerre, a long-standing partner of the Picto Prize for Fashion Photography, is also offering a studio day to each of the four winners.

To enter, you must :
- be under 35 years of age
- submit a series of 15 to 20 images maximum
- if you are aiming for the LGA Management / JANVIER prize, you can also submit a moving image (animation, short video, motion design, etc.) as an extension of the series.

The call for entries is open until March 17, 2025.
