Call for applications for the "Le Banquet des imaginaires" residency at the Villa Salis in Sète

As part of the "Les chemins du vivant" event, the M28 - Terres de culture association and the Lucusta collective have launched theLe Banquet des imaginairesresidency, at the crossroads of cinema and the culinary arts.

The residency welcomes a filmmaker and a chef to the Villa Salis in Sète to explore different narratives and nurture new imaginaries told through the culinary gesture and the cinematic gaze.

At the end of the residency at Villa Salis, a restitution will be presentedon Saturday, October 4, 2025 as part of theIn the Food for Love Festival, in partnership with the Unanime collective in Sète.

The selected pair will design an experimental, ephemeral artistic and culinary creation.

The cook will prepare and set up the banquet (meal) during the event. The filmmaker will accompany the creation of the banquet with a cinematographic proposal in situ , which could take the form of programming, a montage of sequences or a documentary....

Selected candidates will receive a €1,500 grant, plus €200 per diem and accommodation at Villa Salisin a single room.

The deadline for applications is July 13, 2025.
