Call for applications for the Université de Franche-Comté graphic design research grant

Supported by the science, arts and culture department of theUniversité de Franche-Comté, this grant offers a graphic designer the opportunity to share research time with researchers at the C3S laboratory in Besançon.

 

The laboratory brings together various fields (history, sociology, physiology and neuroscience) around three common themes: the body, movement and sport.

 

The aim of this grant is to initiate a shared culture between researchers and graphic designers.

 

To this end, the selected graphic designer will be welcomed into the laboratory to meet researchers and discover their working methods. The winner will be free to carry out graphic research related to the laboratory's activities for the duration of his or her residency.

 

 

The residency will also provide an opportunity tocarry out research into graphic forms and media for publishing and distributing research work. The successful candidate will be able to propose new forms for use by members of the laboratory.

 

 

The grant amounts to €3,500, which corresponds to a minimum of 4 short stays in Besançon. The residency will take place between February and June 2024.

 

The call for applications is open to professional graphic designers with a Siret number who can invoice services, reside in France and have an interest in university research.
