Created in 1990, the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation grants are designed to provide financial support for young professionals in the cultural and media sectors, to help them realize their projects.

 

The grants are divided into 9 job categories: Photographer, Documentary Author, Writer, Print Journalist, Film Producer, Bookseller, Musician, Author and Writer.

Bookseller, Musician, Animator and TV Scriptwriter.

 

 

 

Photographer's Grant

This €10,000 grant is aimed at photographers aged 35 or over who wish to produce documentary photography inthe social, economic, political or cultural fields, in France or abroad .

 

 

 

Animated film maker grant

Aimed at young animators aged 30 or under, this €20,000 grant will be used to finance a short film, , a single unit or the pilot for a feature film or series, suitable for broadcast on TV or in the cinema.

 

Several alumni of the Concepteur et Réalisateur de Films d' Animation program have already won this grant: Hugo de Faucompret(class of 2015), winner of the 2018 edition, Raphaëlle Stolz (class of 2014), winner of the 2016 edition, and Michael Crouzat and Denis Do (class of 2009), winners of the 2011 edition .

 

 

 

Film Producer Grant

This €35,000 prize will be awarded to a candidate aged 30 or under to set up a production company, with the aim of producing a feature-length fiction film.

 

 

Applications are open until Sunday, June 16.
