3 calls for entries for the Lille Video Mapping Festival
Organized in Lille and the Hauts-de-France region by l'association Rencontres Audiovisuelles, the Video Mapping Festival aims to present video mappingo mapping in all its forms (monumental, object-based, immersive, interactive...), with content aimed at the general public as well as international professionals.
The 9th edition will take place on Friday April 10 and Saturday April 11, 2026 in Lille, followed by a tour of the Hauts-de-France region until October.
3 calls for entries have been launched for this 2026 edition:
An international video mapping residency
The aim of this writing and creative residency is to create a mapping work for the opening of the festival.
Selected candidates will receive a grant to produce the work, and will take part in a 1-week writing residency in December 2025. They will then be supported remotely in the production of their work.
The call for applications is open to French and international artists: scriptwriters, directors, museographers, set designers, animators, game designers, developers, sound designers, musicians, etc. French and international.
Please note: support will be provided for candidates with no previous experience of video mapping.

A Video Mapping Contest
The works selected as part of this creative mapping competition will be projected onto the façade of La Voix du Nord in Lille.
Selected candidates will receive a €4,000 grant to create their work, which will be presented to the public and the professional jury at the opening of the festival.
The 2 prize-winners (Grand Prix and Prix du Public) will receive a grant to present their work at partner festivals.
The competition is open to international students and professionals in the fields of mapping, audiovisual, animated film, digital arts, graphic design and video games.
The Video Mapping Awards
This mapping competition rewards the best productions of the year 2025.
The mappings selected during the pre-selection phase will be presented to the public and the professional jury in the form of video recordings on Saturday April 11, 2026 in Lille. The awards are honorary.
The competition is open to anyone who has created or produced a video mapping in 2025.
