Master class: Thomas Digard, Story Visualization Specialist at Dreamworks

For this second master class, we're delighted to welcome Thomas Digard. Graduating from the Animation Designercourse in 2001,Thomas is now Story Visualization Specialist for Dreamworks.
He is currently working on the second part of the "Bad Guys" series, directed by Pierre Perifel, another GOBELINS alumnus (Animation Designer class of 2005).
At this event, he will talk about his career and his experience of the American animation market and major studios.
Thomas began his career with the feature film "La Légende du Cid", on which he worked as an animator.
From 2001 to 2009, he was studio head and animation director at the Ukrainian studio Borisfen-Lutece, where he directed the production of a dozen TV series and 3 animated features for the Millimages group .
He then moved to Asia (China, South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam and Japan) as Director of External Resources, again for Millimage, before joining studio Ankama in 2011.
Thomas worked on the series and feature film "Les Lascars" and the feature film "Dofus".
In 2015, hejoined Gaumont Animation as director and art director, where he co-created and directed the "Bionic Max" series.
Based in Los Angeles since 2022, Thomas directed "Valorant Episode 6: Revelation" for Riot Games at Blur Studio, before joining the DreamWorks studio.
